Erin received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 2008 before returning home to the Chicago area to complete her Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2010. While an undergraduate student, Erin worked on US Military bases in Germany, Japan, Key West, and Italy organizing summer and winter camp programs for American children living abroad. This experience sparked a passion, not only to travel the world, but to work towards creating positive opportunity for others across the globe.
Erin started her career in Campus Recruitment and worked to attract new talent and grow internship and new graduate development programs with some of Chicago’s top Financial Services firms including Citadel, LLC and Northern Trust. In 2014 Erin moved to Jackson National Asset Management where she currently works as a Senior HR Generalist. As a company, Jackson is committed to helping people achieve financial freedom. This past year, Jackson launched the Jackson Charitable Foundation, with a mission to provide educational programming to increase the financial literacy of Americans.
Outside of work, Erin is in her second year of being a Chicago Scholars mentor and was on the Associate board of City Year Chicago from 2013-2014. Since early 2017, Erin has been working with a small group of co-mentors to support a Rohingya family that recently arrived in Chicago through RefugeeOne.
