Chicago Scholars Career Mentoring Program

The Chicago Scholars Career Mentoring Program pairs college juniors, seniors and recent college graduates with adult mentors in their desired career field. We have a need for Career Mentors in all fields - our Scholars pursue a wide variety of career paths!

Career mentors support their mentees through a career leadership curriculum involving resume and cover letter advice, networking, interviewing skills, and professional etiquette.

The Career Mentor program is a six-month program that runs from December to May.  We are currently seeking Career Mentors  for the 2018-2019 school year. 

What it takes to be a Career mentor:


Hold a Bachelor's Degree

Have at least 2 years experience in their industry


Call their mentee once per month


Attend a mentor orientation session


Abide by the Chicago Scholars Code of Ethics


Become a Career Mentor
