DESCRIPTION:Every year during the third week of October\, we recognize National Transfer Student Week. Throughout the week\, Chicago Scholars will host a series of events to address the variety of needs transfer students frequently ask. Whether you are transferring within the next year or are deciding if a transfer is right for you\, sign up for our sessions throughout the week for resources\, 1:1 support\, and thoughtful discussion.   \n  \nTransfer Essay Writing Lab \nMonday\, October 16th\, 3:00pm-5:00pm Central \nRSVP encouraged\, drop-ins welcome: RSVP \nZoom\nDescription: Your personal statement for your transfer application is an essential part to the process. No matter how much progress you’ve made prior\, join this session to get 1:1 support with your essay. Helpful tips will also be shared by Team Lift.   \n  \nTransfer Scholar Send-Off \nTuesday\, October 17th\, 2:30pm-4:30pm\nSign up required\nChicago Scholars Office\nDescription: Transitioning to a new school can be overwhelming. Part of the process is getting your new supplies together\, especially if you’ll be moving. Chicago Scholars has a limited number of dorm/apartment items to help with your transition to your new school.
