Manager of Data Evaluation
As the Manager of Data Evaluation, Kate Sullivan works to collect, manage, monitor and analyze available data, in order to share programmatic and organizational outcomes. Regular monitoring and evaluation of program data ensures that more Scholars are able to realize their full potential as they progress on their path from students to leaders. Please reach out to Kate to learn more about the tremendous impact the Chicago Scholars programs have in the Chicago community.
Kate comes to Chicago Scholars from Urban Initiatives, where she was the Evaluation and Database Manager. Previously she worked at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland evaluating the effectiveness of national public-private partnerships to stop Tuberculosis. By joining Chicago Scholars, she is able to bring in an international perspective and deepen her understanding of the strengths and opportunities of young leaders in Chicago.
Kate graduated from the College of Charleston in 2009 with a B.A. in Political Science. Following her graduation, she moved to Italy and graduated from the Catholic University of Milan with a M.A. in International Development in 2012. Kate’s advice to college students is to seek out mentors in a variety of fields and make an effort to grow the relationship over time.
Outside of work, Kate loves to read, walk her dog, talk politics and spend time with her husband.
