Legaltrek

The LegalTrek program with DePaul University College of Law is currently accepting applications for our 2019 program. Open to all undergraduate Scholars. LegalTrek is a summer program designed to provide a hands-on, comprehensive overview of the legal profession to diverse college students. The program meshes traditional legal learning with opportunities to build legal skills. Deadline has been extended to April 15th.

Aon is looking for marketing summer interns. Interns will work hands-on with communications and marketing colleagues, the internship program is designed to develop the advanced critical thinking and research skillset needed to prepare college students for advancement in a communications career. Must be a current Junior or Senior.

walker sands

Walker Sands is in search of a corporate intern who can help the internal team at the agency with various projects this summer. Responsibilities will include interview preparation and coordination, working with our learning and development team with projects related to employee training, and helping our administrative team with everyday tasks such as ordering office supplies, prepping for company gatherings and more. The internship is paid ($15/hour) and they are open to both full and part-time interns, as long as they can commit to at least ~20 hours/week.

ACAP

The Nationial Association of Black Acountants Center for Advancement of Minority Accountants (ACAP) is an innovative career development program designed specifically for minority students who are juniors and seniors in high school that are interested in accounting, finance, or business careers. ACAP is centered around a week long summer campus residency program that takes place at a local college or university. Students selected for ACAP will receive FREE room and board, books, materials, and attend tours during the program. Deadline is April 15th

The Chicago Education Fund

Program Summer Fellow -The Fund seeks a Fellow to work on their Program & Investment team for the summer who can produce case studies from the 2018-2019 programs and offer launch support for their 2019-2020 programs.

Engagement Summer Fellow - Seeking several fellows to work with the Engagement team who can produce content for The Fund's blog through interviewing Chicago public school principals. In partnership with the Associate of Engagement, these Fellows will create a list of principals to target for blog posts and develop an action plan that accounts for outreach, developing themes for posts, conducting the interviews, drafting posts, and consulting with other team members on content and editing. The goal is to create a bank of 40 blog posts by the end of the summer.

Year UP

Year Up is a great choice for young adults between the ages of 18-24 who are looking for a stable education and career pathway, leading them into a career earning an average of $40k/year! At Year Up students will receive professional skills training, college credits, and a corporate internship with top companies in Chicago. This fall students will have the opportunity to train in career specialties such as: Project Management, Investment Operations, Client Services, Information Technology, and Data Analytics.

Info Sessions: 223 W. Jackson Blvd., 4th floor – Tuesdays at 10:30am, or  Thursdays at 5:30pm
