When you become a Wentcher Scholar, you receive a scholarship award of up to $10,000 a year, renewable for four years of undergraduate support plus:

  • The flexibility to attend any eligible U.S. college as well as for-credit study abroad programs of your choice.
  • Hands-on guidance and resources for social, emotional and academic support.
  • A professional network of other scholars and alumni who are also high-achieving, high-character individuals.

Renaissance Scholars

The mission of the Renaissance Scholars Program (RSP) is to provide scholarships and offer support to high-achieving, low-income students who will be the first in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree.

Application open to high school seniors, community college students transferring to a 4-year college, and current college students from Illinois or Oregon

Awards of up to $5,000 per year

Due:  March 1 or May 1

HEAR provides financial assistance and a college success program to low-income Chicagoland high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to community, and personal integrity in their pursuit of a college education.

Awards of $5,000 per year for four years

ATLAS Fellows opens doors for brilliant, under-represented, and/or under-resourced young people to give them access to life-changing careers in the finance industry.   

An ATLAS Fellow demonstrates outstanding merit and an interest in a career in finance. The program helps students achieve college and career goals by providing four years of financial support, career advising/experience and mentorship including:

  • Up to $20,000 in financial aid for college tuition and other educational expenses for four years   
  • 4 years of best-in-class, paid, full-time summer internships at prestigious financial institutions where Fellows develop the professional knowledge and networks to enter a career in finance  
  • Mentorship and professional development training to equip Fellows to be successful in the 21st century workplace   
  • Membership in a community of current ATLAS Fellows and alumni  

Eligible students must be high school seniors on track to graduate and enroll in a four-year college or university.  They must reside in or attend school in one of the following locations: Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; or Teton County, WY. Special consideration will be given to applicants in the Chicago Scholars program. Eligible students must also be pursuing finance-related coursework and have a current unweighted GPA above 3.5.
