Generations Scholarship Recipients

Racheal O.
Racheal attends the University of Illinois at Chicago. She shared that the Generations scholarship equipped her with the confidence and assurance to enroll in two degrees, Architecture and Real Estate. Saul G.
Saul attended Jones College Prep, where he captained the varsity water polo team and participated in swimming, baseball, and soccer. He has also been a soccer referee, lifeguard, babysitter, and worked at several restaurants. Saul is determined to serve as a role model for Mexican American youth. He is a business major at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Nicole O.
Nicole graduated from Whitney Young Magnet High School and attends DePaul University, majoring in Business Administration. In high school she received the Seal of Biliteracy and served as vice president of Latinos Unidos, choreographer of Latin Dance Club, and member of the Swimming and Water Polo Team. Along with her hard work, she believes the Generations Scholarship will help her create her own construction business in the future.

Andy T.
Andy graduated from Von Steuben Metropolitan Science Center and received the Seal of Biliteracy in Vietnamese. He is dedicated to his temple, volunteering to organize food drives and perform at cultural events. He also led the lion dance team to a tournament in Nebraska. He hopes to pursue a career in healthcare. Andy attends the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in chemistry.
