EMERGE: Summer Career and Leadership Program

Powered by Invest for Kids and Chicago Scholars

Invest for Kids and Chicago Scholars is launching our third year of the Emerge Summer Career and Leadership Program. We are excited for Emerge scholars to be paired with career partners around the city and gain meaningful leadership and professional development experiences through a paid internship position.

These amazing young leaders have participated in Emerge! In 2019, we recruited 80 Emerge Scholars who represented diverse Chicago neighborhoods, are students at 39 colleges and universities across the country, and are an amazing example of Chicago’s next generation of leaders. Our Emerge Scholars interned at companies and organizations across the city – including healthcare, technology, law, government, finance, and education.

Meet some of 2019 COHORT!
