Rusty Cohen Legacy Scholarship Recipients

Jayden N.

2025 Rusty Cohen Legacy Scholarship

Hello, my name is Jayden Tyler Nuamah and I am graduating from Ogden International High School this Spring. This upcoming fall, I will be attending George Washington University School of Business with an intended major in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I plan to build on the entrepreneurial experiences that I have already had- such as: interning at Future Founders as a part of their ‘Be Your Own Boss’ program, and running my own rental car business. When it came time to make a final decision on where I would be attending college, I centered it around what I want to do after high school, which is to take my side hustle to the next level. I plan to create my own platform, transforming myself from a host on the rideshare platform to being an owner of a platform. However, I want to take a different approach- I want to ensure that every vehicle on my app is environmentally sustainable and is not harming the environment. There will be requirements like: routinely inspections, and annual emission tests to ensure cars remain environmentally sustainable. Just as Rusty Cohen prioritized the safety of workers through quality personal products, I am prioritizing the safety of the environment by promoting the use of hybrid vehicles, reducing carbon emissions.
