As a future engineer and leader, she’s committed to creating lasting change in the spaces and systems that shape our everyday lives!

Rejoice E.
I am Rejoice Ezirike, and I went to Nicholas Senn High School. Senn people know me as outgoing and funny, but as rank 7 in my class, they also know I’m serious about becoming an engineer. I want to engineer for a healthier environment because time is running out. Even though, volunteering to help the environment has been rewarding, I’m ready for UIUC to make me an engineer who can make a bigger impact.

Larry C.
Larry graduated from Jones College Prep where he focused on STEM, honors, and AP courses. He was also a dedicated member of the Lacrosse and Ultimate Frisbee teams, participated in After School Matters AeroStars Aviation internship, Project Syncere Advanced Apprenticeship, and volunteered with Give a Little. Ever since he was a child, Larry has been fascinated by planes and how they work. When he was a teenager, he learned about renewable energy, biofuel, and the world of engineering. It wasn’t until then that this interest developed into a passion that focused on creating and improving aerospace vehicles to be environmentally friendly and sustainable. Larry attends the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he will major in aerospace engineering.
