SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST – Equity LifeStyle Properties 

Location: Chicago, IL
Education: Bachelor’s degree: Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: 1+ years of experience in social media and / or related digital marketing, which can be through internship and/or extracurricular activities
Compensation: 45-50K + 4% bonus

SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree: Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience in social media and / or related digital marketing, which can be through internship and/or extracurricular activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including proficiency in writing, editing, proofreading, and grammar
  • Experience with major social networks (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter (X), YouTube, Wordpress, etc.)
  • Proficiency with web-based programs, including 3rd party data management programs and social media outlets
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
