Major Purpose
The new John Deere Smart Industrial strategy focuses on being a clear technology leader, so it is critical that our enterprise has the digital-ready skills to support this ambition. The Information Technology Development Program (ITDP) designed to equip new or recent graduates with the technical skills and knowledge needed to thrive in our Agile Operating Model. This is a rotational program in which applicants participate in the following area:.lopment
Software Engineering – If you are passionate about software engineering, developing new and innovative technical solutions and working in a fast paced, empowered Agile environment John Deere is the place to be. Help us build rich web application, large-scale apis, robust data transformations, or create the platform our engineers get to innovate on. We offer the opportunity to be a part of full-stack product teams who see ideas from concept to production.
What Skills You Need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
- Previous technical experience through an internship or part-time student position preferred.
- For the software engineering track, experience with Python, Java or JavaScript preferred.
